College Courses

Teaching philosophy
As an artist and dance educator, I believe we have the ability to connect people more deeply to their own humanity. My teaching combines theory and practice, to create dance classes pairing embodied research with intellectual rigor. Through my career I have gained skills to unite these areas of dance and integrate them into the classroom. College courses taught include Fundamentals of Movement, Contemporary Dance Forms, Contact Improvisation, Dance in Context: History and Criticism, Dance Composition and Improvisation, Dance in Film, Dance Composition for the Camera, Improvisation, and faculty advisor for the showcase Dance Extravaganza.
